It is not always possible to travel with your dog or cat.

ANIMALS NOT PERMITTED TO TRAVEL

Category 1 and 2 dogs, as defined by the French Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, i.e., so-called “attack dogs” that do not belong to a particular breed but are similar in morphology to the following:

  • Staffordshire terriers (pit-bulls),
  • Mastiffs (Boer-bulls),
  • Tosas.

The same applies to guard or defence dogs, American Staffordshire terriers, Rottweilers, and dogs similar in morphology to Rottweilers.

SNUB-NOSED ANIMALS

PROHIBITED IN THE HOLD, NOT A GOOD IDEA IN THE CABIN

Snub-nosed dogs and cats, such as pugs, bulldogs, boxers, Shih Tzus and Persian or Burmese cats, are not permitted for transport in the hold on HOP! Air France flights:

  • This includes the following breeds: Affenpinschers, Boston terrier, boxers (all breeds), bulldogs (all breeds), bull mastiffs, cane corsos, pugdogs (all breeds), chow-chows, bulldogs (all breeds), spaniels (all breeds), griffon bruxellois, lhassa apsos, mastiffs (all breeds), Neapolitan mastiffs, Pekinese, petit brabancons, shih Tzus, Shar peis, and Staffordshire bull terriers.
  • And the following breeds of cats: Burmeses, exotic shorthairs, Himalayans, and Persians.
