USE OF THE YOUTH PASS
This paid pass (hereinafter: “Youth Pass”) is only for customers aged 12 to 24 years inclusive. It is personal and non-transferable and may be used only for trips completed no later than the day before the Youth Pass holder’s 25th birthday.
The Youth Pass is valid for one year from its activation by Air France or HOP!. The activation date will be the date written on said Youth Pass (the Youth Pass is created and sent electronically generally within an average of 24 hours from subscription). In any case, the Youth Pass expires on the day before its holder’s 25th birthday, regardless of its activation date.
The Youth Pass is non-refundable after being activated by Air France or HOP!.
In accordance with current regulations, please note that the Pass holder does not have the right to cancel his or her contract after purchasing the Youth Pass on hop.com.
Youth Pass holders may obtain special Youth rates within the limite of available seats, for bookings departing from France, on all flights in continental France operated by HOP! and Air France and on some european routes HOP!, Air France and Joon (Germany, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Spain, Portugal, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, UK, Irland, Russia, Armenia, Ukraine, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Romania, Crotia, Bulgaria, Poland, Czech Republic , Slovania and Netherlands*).

Youth Pass holders are entitled to a discount of up to 30% off LIGHT! and STANDARD! fares. They may also check one bag free of charge and are entitled to special terms and conditions for changing and refunding tickets.
To travel on the special Youth fare, the Youth Pass holder must show the Youth Pass when asked to do so at the airport and throughout his trip, along with an identity card (a national identity card, passport, a residency permit).
Otherwise, a fare adjustment of 49€ corresponding to the Youth pass price will be charged directly at the airport. You may convert this document on the site carte Jeune with a photo and an ID document to obtain your Youth pass free.
In any case, failure to present the Youth Pass upon boarding will result in the invalidation of the initial ticket and access to the flight will be refused to Youth Pass holders who have not paid the aforementioned sums (fare adjustment and reissue fee).
Loss of the Youth Pass must be reported as soon as possible to Air France at airfrance.fr (click on “Contact us”, then “Claim”). You may also call +33 (0)9 69 39 10 30 (price of a local call from a landline phone) from 9 am to 10 pm seven days a week or from HOP! at hop.com (click on “Contact us”, then “Youth Pass”). You may also call 0 892 70 22 22 (€0.35/min from a landline phone) from Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 9 pm, and on Saturday from 9:30 am to 6 pm, and on Sunday from 9:30 am to 8 pm.
If the Youth Pass is lost, the Youth Pass holder must wait for a duplicate Youth Pass before travelling again under the Youth rate. An electronic duplicate copy with a penalty fee (15 euros) will be sent to the Youth Pass holder within an average of 24 hours. The new Youth Pass will automatically have the same validity dates as the initial Youth Pass.
Any fraudulent use of the Youth Pass is punishable by the immediate seizure of the Youth Pass without prejudice to any legal proceedings that may result.
HOP! is responsible for processing personal data concerning customers having purchased the Priority Fast Track Option and acts as the officer of such data processing, pursuant to the amended French law of 6 January 1978 concerning data processing, files and freedom: the French data protection act ‘Loi Informatique et Libertés’.
So that HOP! can offer products and services as part of its direct marketing and communication purposes, information concerning the client can be exchanged confidentially between Air France and HOP! for their exclusive use if you check the boxes provided for this purpose on the online registration form.
Pursuant to the applicable aforementioned regulations, you may exercise your right to view data concerning you, ask for it to be deleted, request rectification of it, object to it being processed for a legitimate reason, or give instructions on the use of your data in the event of death, by writing to the address below, attaching a copy of proof of identity and including the note ‘Droit des personnes’ (Personal rights):
