General Conditions of Use - Le Pass

Air France Hop Le Pass Rules

When you buy an Air France Hop Le Pass to travel on Air France and Hop flights, you enter into a contract with Air France and HOP. The Le Pass Service is administered  by Optiontown Ireland Limited, an Ireland limited liability company, having its registered address at Mespil Business Center, Mespil House, Sussex Road, Dublin 4, Ireland, along with Optiontown, Inc., a Massachusetts Incorporation with its mailing address as PO Box 42 East Walpole, MA 02032, USA hereinafter referred to as “Optiontown” or "OT" in collaboration with Air France and Hop.

Your ticketed bookings are governed by Air France's and Hop’s General Conditions of Carriage; the conditions applying to  your ticket and its tariff. Air France is a French limited company  having its registered office and principal place of business at 45, rue de Paris, 95747 Roissy CDG Cedex, France, Registered on the Trade and Companies register in Bobigny under no. 420 495 178, hereinafter to be referred to as “Air France” and Hop is a French limited company having  its office and principal place of business at 24/26 rue de Villeneuve, Immeuble Caracas, SILIC 193, 94563 Rungis, registered on the Trade and Companies register in Creteil under n°790151716, hereinafter to be referred to as “Hop”

Please note that Le Pass Rules, together with the Optiontown Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between you and Air France and Hop. In the event of any contradiction between the Optiontown Terms of Service and Le Pass Rules, Le Pass Rules shall prevail.



"Advance Booking" refers to the minimum number of days or hours before your Journey that are required for you to make a booking with Le Pass.

Fare Type” refers to the type of fare selected for Le Pass, namely, Light, Standard or Flex. Different amenities and services are available with different fare types, like flight change, flight cancel, No-show, bags, upgrades, etc.

Cabin” or Travel Class" refers to the travel class, e.g. Economy Class.

"Customer" refers to one or more persons that have bought Le Pass or one or more of the OT Services.

"Passengers(s)" refers to the total number of distinct Passengers who can take advantage of Le Pass to book Flights and fly.

"Flight" or "Flights" refers to the flights operated, marketed, designated or any combination thereof by Air France and Hop. "Number of Flights" refers to the number of one-way Flights you can take between selected destinations. Only round-trip bookings are allowed with Le Pass. Two Flights are needed for one Passenger to fly a round-trip between two selected destinations.

Air France Hop Le Pass” or "Le Pass" refers to the pass provided by Optiontown in collaboration with Air France and Hop to Customers eligible to book Flights falling under criteria mentioned in these Le Pass Rules.

"Journey" refers to a segment of Flights that may have more than one Flight (like a segment may have both outbound and return Flights).

Minimum Stay” refers to restrictions on stay that may apply during a Journey booked with Le Pass.

"Optiontown" refers to the OT and its brand name and "" refers to the domain name and website of OT.

"OT Services" comprises of the various services offered by OT on its website. Le Pass is one of the OT services.

Travel Period” refers to the time period, whereby a Passenger  can fly on flights departing during said time period by booking a Flight with Le Pass.

Travel Date Restrictions” refers to a set of dates when travel may not be permitted by using Le Pass. Such travel date restrictions will apply to all of the destinations included in your Travel Zone and will be marked clearly in your Pass.

"Website” is the webpage on which Le Pass is being offered, sold and administered.

"You" refers to a Customer of Le Pass.

"Travel Zone" or “Zone” refers to destination pairs (cities/countries) for which Le Pass is valid.




1. Purchase of Le Pass and subsequent exchange of Le Pass for ticketed bookings can only be done through or website. You will NOT be able to make changes to your Pass, or any flights booked using your Pass, through or, Air France or Hop call centers or Airport tickets offices.

2. Upon completing your Pass purchase:

2.1 You get the right to book and fly on 'X' one-way flights for the selected 'Destination(s)' within the Travel Period of the Pass. (Where X= Number of Flights you have chosen while purchasing Le Pass).

2.2 Round-Trip Only –You can use your Pass to book only round-trip flight bookings from/to any airport within your selected Travel Zone routes in your Pass. One-way trips are not allowed. You agree that a round-trip booking for one Passenger will consume 2 Flights at a time.

2.3 Travel Date Restrictions

i. Open Travel Dates - Customers who choose “Open Travel Dates” option will not have any date restrictions applicable and they can use their pass to book flights departing on any date during their travel Period.
ii. Black-out Travel Dates - Customers who purchase “Black-out Travel Dates” option will not be allowed to use their pass to book flights departing on restricted dates on the given routes.

2.4 Minimum Stay

i. No Weekend Stay Required - Customers who choose “No Saturday Night Stay Required” option will not have any minimum stay requirements when booking their flights with Le Pass. This option cannot be selected for passes with an advance booking period below 10 days (e.g. 7 days).
ii. Weekend Stay- For Customers that choose “Weekend Stay” option, if you
depart on any day between Monday and Saturday, the return flight must be on or after next Sunday. If you depart on Sunday, the return flight must be on or after next Saturday.

2.5 Passengers Name Add time limit – You can add new Passengers names to your Pass until you reach the maximum limit of Passengers subscribed to your Pass. The maximum amount of passengers that can be chosen per Pass is nine.

2.6 Infant and Children Rule – You agree that Le Pass is only available for use by adults and children over 2 years of age. You can add infants (0 to 2 years old) on your reservation file,  after the booking is created, by paying the appropriate fares for infants, fees and taxes which may be levied and charged by Air France or Hop according to their public fares. To add Infants, you may do so by contacting Optiontown for Le Pass. Children may be added as Passenger with the Pass. Le Pass price is NON-discountable for children.

2.7 Special Service Requests (SSRs) – You can add Special Service Requests (SSRs) to your flight, such as for special meals, baggage, special requests like wheel chair, disability assistance or others, at, or by telephone via the Air France or Hop Service Centre. Such SSRs are not included in the Pass price and  Air France or Hop may levy an additional charge for these additional service requests as per regular Air France and Hop policy. The acceptance of SSR is subject to Air France and Hop general policy.

2.8 Amenities – You will receive all standard services and amenities associated with your selected cabin in your designated flight which may be subject to change as per normal Air France and Hop operating procedures;

2.9 Baggage Allowance - You will receive the following baggage allowance when You make a booking under Le Pass:

i. Carry-on Baggage - You will be allowed 1 carry-on bag and 1 personal item both together of up to 12 kg maximum
1 carry-on bag (max 55 x 35 x 25 cm / 21.7x 13.8x 9.9in)
1 accessory (e.g. laptop bag) max. 40 x 30x 15 cm / 16 x 12.0 x 6.0 in

ii. Check-in Baggage - The check-in bag allowance will be based on the fare type purchased

3. Le Pass conditions
3.1 Le Pass Change – You can change one or more of the Pass parameters (Travel Zone, Number of Flights, Travel Period, Advance Booking,  Passengers, Fare Type, Travel Date Restrictions, Minimum Stay) after paying the fees and fare difference (if applicable) through the or website only. Changes apply to all flights in your Pass, it is not possible to change only a portion of the flights in your Pass. Changes can be done via the Manage My Pass section after login on to your account;

3.2 Once purchased, le Pass is NON refundable

3.3 No amount of Le Pass price will be refunded in case of any unused Flight credits. However, and exclusively in the event that AF or Hop stops flying to any destination in your Pass Travel Zone and You have unused Flight credits for that destination, then you may request refund for only that unused Le Pass Flight credits. In this event, Air France or Hop will be responsible to refund the amount, however, you will need to contact Optiontown to submit your refund request.

3.4 Le Pass is NON transferable, and cannot be sold or exchanged for cash. The Journey entitlement under Le Pass cannot be altered except as notified otherwise by Optiontown. In all circumstances, the Pass remains Non-refundable except as mentioned above.

3.5 Flight tickets booked with the Pass are NON refundable.  But In the event that the Flight ticket is not valid anymore and has not been used for transportation, You have a right to reimbursement of taxes depending on your actual boarding.

3.6 In order to be refunded of these amounts, you can submit your refund request to Optiontown.

3.7 For Customers who purchase Le Pass through the installment option, the deposit amount, and any installment payment(s) are NOT refundable in the event that you decide to cancel your Pass or any of your bookings.

3.8 Passengers Name Correction - Once you have added a name to your Pass, you can only edit a maximum of 3 misspelled characters in your name. Please make sure that you have added the correct name on the Pass as it appears in the Passenger Passport.

4. Flight conditions for Light, Standard and Flex options

4.1 Free Same Day Change
i. Light: Flight change is not permitted.
ii. Standard ans Flex: Free flight change not permitted for same day flight change. The fare for a change is € 70 if within Customer chosen parameters. If flight is outside chosen parameters, an additional fare difference will be charged corresponding to the difference between your actual fare and the fare available on the date of the request for modification with a penalty of 20%.

4.2 Seat at the front of Cabin
i. Light: this option is not included.  
ii. Standard: this option is not included.
iii. Flex –this option is included. A seat at the front of the Cabin will be automatically assigned to you when you check in, subject to availability.

4.3 Flight Change
i. Light: Flight change is NOT permitted.
ii. Standard: Flight change is permitted. The fare for a change is € 70 if within the chosen parameters. If flight is outside parameters an additional fare difference will be calculated and charged.
iii. Flex: Flight change is permitted at no cost, subject to availability.

4.4 Flight Cancellation
i. Light: Cancellation before and after departure is not allowed.
ii. Standard: Cancellation before and after departure is not allowed
iii. Flex: Cancellation is allowed at no cost before and after departure, and once cancelled the flight credits will be added back to your Pass.

4.5 No Show
i. Light: If you are not present in time for boarding, this ticket is not refundable and you are not eligible for rebooking.
ii. Standard: If you are not present in time for boarding, this ticket is not refundable and you are not eligible for a free rebooking
iii. Flex: If you are not present in time for boarding, you are eligible for a rebooking, or you may request your credit to be added back to your Pass up to 1 year after the date of original ticket issuance date.

4.6 Baggage Allowance
i. Light: Carry-on baggage included
ii. Standard: Carry-on and 1 Check in baggage included of maximum 23 Kg
iii. Flex: Carry-on and 1 Check in baggage included of maximum 23 Kg

4.7 Frequent Flyer Miles
i. Light:  Flying Blue miles included. Number of miles based on the moment of booking.
ii. Standard: Flying Blue miles included. Number of miles based on the moment of booking.
iii. Flex: Flying Blue miles included. Number of miles based on the moment of booking.

4.8 Sky Priority
i. Light: Sky priority is NOT included.
ii. Standard: Sky priority is NOT included
iii. Flex: Sky Priority is included
The Flight Changes can only be done online by logging to your Pass account on or lepass.hop.fcomor Contact Optiontown at to cancel your flight or to reinstate your No Show credit.

5 You agree and understand that the real time price may be lower or higher than the regular price displayed. You agree and confirm unconditionally that you have taken the informed decision with the clear understanding and knowledge of the above.

6. Le Pass price includes the base fare, taxes and fees for all the Flights purchased. Service fees may apply for changes to your Pass or for changes to your bookings. However, in the event, that taxes and charges are created or increased by a government, another authority or an airport operator between the time of Le Pass purchase and the time of actual flight booking, then, You will have to pay the corresponding amount before departure. Conversely, if the taxes and charges are reduced or abolished, You can be refunded for the reduced or abolished amounts.

7. Le Pass prices may vary across different Customers whether booked on the same flight and having the same parameters.

8. Le Pass bookings are based on last seat availability. You understand that if a flight is fully booked, and therefore no vacant seats are available, you are not able to make a booking on that flight.

9. Specific policies and rules, if applicable to Air France or Hop, will be displayed under the Pass Rules and would accordingly be applicable to you.

10. The total Le Pass amount paid will appear in the name of Optiontown. Customers agree that they cannot challenge or dispute a charge if the name appearing on their credit card statement is different than the one mentioned above.

11. These Le Pass Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with French Laws. and each Customer submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts to resolve any disputes that may arise out of them.

12. If any provision of these Le Pass Rules are declared void or unenforceable by any competent authority or court shall, to the extent of such invalidity or unenforceability, be deemed severable and shall not affect the other provisions remaining which shall continue unaffected.

13. Air France, Hop and Optiontown accept no responsibility for damage or loss resulting from misdirected or incomplete entries arising from computer malfunctions, viruses, bugs or other such causes. Optiontown is in no way liable for the reproduction or indirect access via third party web site or home page access which reproduction misstates or omits any of the information or terms and conditions connected with Le Pass.

14. Air France, Hop and OptionTown reserve the right to change these Le Pass Rules at any time.
