Senior pass sales terms and conditions

This pass (hereinafter the “Senior pass”) must be purchased, is personal, bears the holder’s name and is not transferable.

The Senior pass is valid for one year after being activated by HOP! and Air France. The activation date is indicated on the pass, which is created by filling out a form.

The Senior pass exists in electronic form only. Once the pass is activated, an e-mail confirmation message will be sent to the pass-holder.

Senior passes are available in continental France and in the French European territories exclusively to customers age 65 and older. They entitle their holders to discounts of up to 30% on the STANDARD! price with tax included (excluding any applicable service charges) on all HOP! and Air France flights within continental France and the French European territories (except for flights between Paris and Corsica in either direction), provided that flights at the aforementioned prices are available. Senior passholders are also entitled to a discount on the modification fee (€10) and on the reimbursement fee (€20) and to one item of checked baggage free of charge.

The Senior pass discount does not apply to a promotional or reduced price.

In order to be entitled to the Senior pass discount, the pass-holder must be able to present the pass (in digital or printed form) at the airport and throughout the flight, along with personal ID in the form of either a national identity card, a passport or a resident card.

If the Senior pass is not presented a price adjustment of €59 will be charged, which corresponds to the price of the pass.

Customers who fail to present their Senior pass will not be allowed to embark until they pay the aforementioned price adjustment.

A customer who is not a Senior pass holder and who pays the aforementioned price adjustment may subsequently obtain a Senior pass free of charge on the or websites, by providing a photo and ID.

Loss of the Senior pass e-mail confirmation message may be notified to +33 (0)9 72 72 22 22 (standard call charge) from Monday to Friday between 6:30 am and 9 pm, on Saturday from 9:30 am to 6 pm, and on Sunday from 9:30 am to 8 pm. A duplicate confirmation message may be obtained within 24 hours, for a fee of €15. The duplicate Senior pass will be subject to the validity dates that were indicated when the pass was purchased.

Pass-holders who have lost their Senior passes may embark but will have to pay a price adjustment of €59, which the Hop or Air France Complaints department will fully reimburse upon request and presentation of the Senior pass.

A Senior pass that is used in a fraudulent or unauthorised manner will be immediately seized and cancelled without reimbursement and without prejudice to any legal action that HOP! and/or Air France may decide to take against the pass-holder. The customer will also be charged a price adjustment that is equivalent to the Senior pass discount obtained. Customers who refuse to pay this price adjustment will not be allowed to embark.

Senior pass holders cannot book a flight online together with someone who is not a Senior pass holder, including children and infants. To do this, the customer must contact a customer service advisor at +33 (0)9 72 72 22 22 (standard call charge) from Monday to Friday between 6:30 am and 9 pm, on Saturday from 9:30 am to 6 pm, and on Sunday from 9:30 am to 8 pm.

The Senior pass is not refundable.

Pursuant to current regulations, we inform our customers who purchase their pass on our website that they are not entitled to cancel their purchase.

Senior pass holders who are members of the Flying Blue loyalty programme are entitled to accumulate miles on their flights.

In addition to getting credit for miles, the Flying Blue programme offers many other advantages. See the website for more details.
