The in-cabin pet option is for customers wishing to carry a dog or a cat on board an aircraft. All animals must be carried in a bag certified for air transport, with the recommended dimensions of 46 x 28 x 24 cm. The total weight (bag plus animal) must not exceed 8 kg. Only one animal is allowed per bag and per person. A limitation may be placed on the total number of animals on any one flight.
However, the in-cabin pets option may not be purchased for:
• children younger than 2 years of age travelling on their parents’ laps.
Purchasing terms and conditions:
The in-cabin pet option may be bought:
• when the ticket is purchased online;
• at any time after the purchase of the ticket and until one hour prior to the departure of a flight under "Manage my booking".
The in-cabin pet option may be purchased on hop.com and is also available by phone or from a certified agent. Options are in the purchaser’s name and may not be refunded. It you wish to transfer the in-cabin pet option to another flight, we ask you to contact your point of sale prior to the Check-In Deadline.
For connecting flights, the in-cabin pet option applies to the entire trip (from originating city to final destination), only on flights operated by HOP! or Air France.
Means of payment:
The in-cabin pet option may be purchased online only with a payment card.
In the event of a voluntary change in flight, the in-cabin pet option may be transferred to the new flight, regardless of the terms and conditions of the ticket of the new flight.
The in-cabin pet option is non-refundable except:
- in the event of a scheduling incident (if HOP! cancels the flight, the option is transferred if at all possible; otherwise it is refunded); and
- if the option is not available on the new flight.
In accordance with current regulations, we draw your attention to the fact that you are not entitled to the right of retraction when purchasing this option on our website.
For the use of services accessible on their website, their mobile websites or their mobile apps, HOP! and Air France may compile and process personal data. HOP! and Air France will record and keep such data on file throughout the time necessary to process them, in order to enhance their offers and services for their clients, prospects and website visitors, after which such data will be deleted.
