Popular places to visit near Brive-la-Gaillarde include Donzenac at a distance of 7 km and Turenne at 13 km.
Collonges-la-Rouge is 23 km away from Brive-la-Gaillarde and is the most visited village in the area. It is a lovely place to explore, with most of the houses constructed with the local red sandstone.

The Urban Community of Brive is preparing the future.
Brive-la-Gaillarde and its surroundings have absorbed since 1987 over 50% of all new business created in Corrèze.

Brive and its historic center is an invitation to a journey through many centuries of history and of architectural styles, in particular:

- But also museums: the Museum Labenche and its outstanding collection of seventeenth century tapestries, the home of Edmond Michelet, the museum of the distillery Denoix .
