The Football Club des Girondins de Bordeaux, abbreviated FCGB, is the historic club in the city.
Over a century old, he won three League Cups titles, six championship titles in France, three Coupes de France and finished runner up in the UEFA Cup against Bayern Munich in 1996.
Since June 2011, the first team is coached by Francis Gillot.
With more than 115,000 hectares of vineyards and nearly 14,000 producers, Bordeaux is of course the world capital of wine and spirits!
The high price of the vineyards real estate and the political weight of winemaking industry have a heavy influence on infrastructure project decisions, as an example : the idea of a motorway city bypass has been abandoned in the late 2000s because it touched the Margaux estates.
