Update on 24 July, 16.00 P.M. local time in Paris
This information is valid for short-haul HOP! Air France flights. Our flights program is operated with a mixt fleet composed by “regional” aircrafts (Bombardier, ATR, Embraer) and Airbus aircrafts.
Further to the call for strike action for the period from July 27 to August 02, issued by several Air France airline cabin crew unions - on Airbus aircrafts only - our flight schedule operated by an Air France aircraft (Airbus) is disrupted.
Air France flights operated by a HOP! aircraft are not affected by this call for strike.
In the meantime, we would like to assure you that both HOP! and Air France team are fully mobilized and will do their utmost to assist you and minimize the impact of this industrial action on your travel plans.
How to know if my flight is operated on an Air France aircraft (Airbus)?
Check the « my booking & baggage » section to see the type of aircraft use for the flight:
- Your flight is planned on a regional fleet aircraft (Bombardier, ATR, Embraer): you are not affected by the Air France strike action.
- Your flight is planned on an Airbus: we prefer to offer you the following commercial facilities
What will be the possible consequences?
As soon as we will have a more accurate estimate of the number of employees on strike and the impact on our operations, our flight schedule will be adapted accordingly and published the day before your departure.
What are the commercial facilities proposed ?
If you are travelling on a flight operated by an Air France (Airbus) aircraft between the 27th July and the 2nd of August and wish to change your reservation:
- You may anticipate your trip from 23 to 26 June 2016 included, or postpone your trip from August 3rd to August 12, 2016 included, at no extra cost.
- To postpone your trip beyond August 12, 2016, to change your origin or destination or if you no longer wish to travel, you can receive of a non-refundable voucher valid one year on Air France, KLM or Hop!
You can make this change contacting your usual travel agent.
Flight cancellations may be expected. Beside, in order to maintain the maximum number of flights with a reduced crew, we may be constrained to limit the number of customers on board of some of our flights. We would then not be able to honour all the bookings. Customers impacted by the cancellation of their booking will be informed the day before their departure.
